How to start up a supported living service – 6 great resources to get you started

Updated: Oct 22

People holding hands

If you are thinking of setting up as a supported living provider here are 6 free resources to help you.  I would encourage you to access these before you do anything else. Setting up a new supported living service is not simple and it is easy to lose a lot of money if you do not do things in the right order.

I am often approached by people who want to get started as a supported living provider, they ask me how to get started and to mentor them in this.  This is not something I offer; my focus is on helping providers find the property they need to lease and solving the problems around supported living property. So, when you are ready to lease property then do come back to me then.

A note of warning, I have found that there are a lot of “sharks” in the supported living training and mentoring space and sadly I am regularly approached by people who have lost a lot of money and not received the service they have paid for.  If you are considering getting support then I urge you to approach this with caution.  Please please make sure you do decent due diligence on anyone before you start working with them.

Here are 6 great resources which are completely free to get you started as a supported living provider:
